Year 9 embarks on a camp to the the nation's capital
Year 9 students recently ventured to Canberra for their 2024 school camp!
Students had a packed learning itinerary, including seeing a special event in the House of Representatives, visiting Questacon, the Mount Stromlo Observatory, and much more!
The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of the Civics and Citizenship education. To assist in meeting the cost of the excursion the Australian Government is contributing funding to our school in the amount of $30.00 per student under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program. The rebate is paid directly to the school upon completion of the excursion.
