A great day at Try Year 7 Day
On our recent Try Year 7 Day, 42 Year 6 students visited our Secondary School to experience something of what Year 7 might look like for them at Calderwood next year. Throughout the day, they had opportunities to experience class time in Design & Technology (making candle holders), English, assembly and sport.
Our Year 10 students accompanied the students around the school, led a Bible study and played games with them. Students enjoyed recess and lunch provided by Mrs Scherlowski and played giant chess, nine square, table tennis, Ker-plunk and many other games.
