On Friday, 24 June, CCS students participated in a fundraiser for the Lismore Rural Fire Brigade. The recent floods had inundated the Lismore Fire Brigade's station, and much of their valuable equipment was destroyed.
Students decorated their hair, wore a variety of crazy socks, and enjoyed a delicious sausage sizzle. As a school, we were successfully able to raise $1500.
We do pray this donation will be a blessing to Lismore Rural Fire Brigade. Thank you again to our school community for supporting this worthy cause.
We’re a growing school for a new and growing community.
We run regular tours and open days for parents and students to have a taste of life at Calderwood. We’d love to welcome you to one of them soon!
