On Thursday, August 3, Kindergarten celebrated becoming 100 days brighter. Every day, since starting Kindergarten, students have counted their days of school; a task that develops their number sense in a meaningful way.
When the 100th day arrives each year, this milestone is celebrated with dress ups, games and gifts.
Seeing students arrive as 100 year olds is always a hit. This year the Year 12 buddies joined in the fun for some geriatric fitness (mind your back and hips).
Students customised walking sticks, counted and represented 100 and generally crafted up a storm. What a fantastic celebration of 100 days of curious and discerning learning!
