Farewell, Mrs Meek!
Earlier this term, Mrs Evelyn Meek concluded her time at Calderwood as Head of Secondary School. Our students, staff and wider school community were grateful for the opportunities to celebrate with Mrs Meek as she enjoys some well-earned long service leave to end the year.
On Wednesday, October 23, our Secondary students, staff, parents and friends assembled for a special farewell service for Mrs Meek.
It was an emotional ceremony with tributes from staff and students, with students also presenting her with several gifts as a gesture of thanks and appreciation for her leadership at Calderwood.
Our staff were also able to celebrate with Mrs Meek on Friday, October 25 – her last day at Calderwood – sharing lunch together alongside some more sentimental reflections of her time at Calderwood.
We once again express our gratitude for Mrs Meek and all her hard work across her time at Calderwood, and wish her all the best for her long service leave and into her next chapter!
