A spotlight on our 2024 Calderwood House Captaincy Team
Our 2024 House Captains and Vice Captains have had the exciting task of being the first Captains and Vice Captains under our new house system. This has been an important task, as they have had the crucial role of developing house identity, affinity and enthusiasm.
Through the Leadership Training Day at the beginning of the year and regular weekly house captaincy meetings, these students have been able to dream, plan, develop their skills and engage in feedback to further drive and grow Calderwood’s exciting new house system.
The new Calderwood House and Vice Captains have been hard at work this year and they have already run House Meetings, led the houses at the Swimming and Cross-Country Carnivals, and organised numerous house activities at sports carnivals and during lunchtimes, including an exciting 4-Square Competition.
Additionally, the Treasure Hunt at the end of Term 1 was a highlight among students and a great way to build community as we ended the term together.
We look forward to many exciting activities our House Captains and Vice Captains have planned for the remainder of the year incorporating our students' teamwork, sporting, musical, creative and academic abilities.
We are extremely blessed at Calderwood to have such an enthusiastic, passionate and hardworking group of students who have put their hands up to lead and serve our students.
